Internal and External Conflicts Book: The Bass, The River and Sheila Mant
In the story The Bass, The River and Sheila Mant, the main character faces both external and internal conflicts. The external conflict in the story is that the main character is trying to impress a girl but she doesn't like fishing and he happened to have one of the biggest fish on his line. Then the internal conflict is that when he was trying to keep hold on the line without disturbing Sheila Mant, the main character just cuts the line and loses the girl. It's a double wammy. As the result of these conflicts the narrater changes by making the main character cut the line and get Shiela Mant ditch him.
