Anwser:

In the conflict between Jing-mei and her mother, Jing-mei/her mother is argurementive and eager. Why? For example Jin-mei is argurementive because whenever her mother ever tells Jing-mei that she wants her to try something and SNAP into a arguementive state. This shows that whenever she gets told to do something she will get into the very same stage.  In addition, her mother is eager for her daughter to be the best living person in  the world thats why she is eager. “Two Kinds” In the Shoes of a Prodigy

Put yourself in Jing-mei’s shoes. How would you respond to pressure to become a prodigy? Write a narrative or expository paragraph explaining your ideas.
Blog Post Title: “Two Kinds” In the Shoes of a Prodigy

Answer: If I was in Jing-Mei's shoes I would be disappointed and angry everyday in my life. If my parents told to do this try this I would seriously go insane. Say for example in the story they talked about how the mom told the daughter to go play the piano. I would straight up tell my mom to never tell me to do that because I be someone that I am not. In my life time I've had people telling me that I will be the smartest person in the world. They told me that I will become a lawyer when I am older. I told myself and others that I am who I am.

OAATS Analysis of Peer Paragraph

Write a paragraph analyzing the character of another student on campus. Select one main character trait, such as honest, confident, generous, caring, outgoing, etc. Then, write details about the person that can help to support the trait you selected. When thinking of details, use OAATS.

There are many people I can write about in this OAATS Analyzing paragraph. I just dont know which one to pick. It could be Marcos who as the best confident shot on this campus. Or it can be Jose a hyperactive wannabe for show jock. Maybe it can be Luis who is a moody person. I guess I'll write about Luis the moody long hair kid. Luis is one of those kids who is moody, caring, hating or even happier then a butterfly. Some how Luis can always get someone that is in a sad stage to talk to him about. Luis sometimes gets alittle to much pushy. That is how and why I picked luis as my character.

The character that I have choosen is the Mom. The mom is differs many ways from me.First she is old lady who is bigger boned then me. Then also she could be more popular then me because she could be a heck of a lineman. Then many other ways she can be the same as me. In many words she is a human who doesn't quite care how people talk about her then also there is many other reason on why we are the different but I dont want to go to a really well detailed destription.

"Everyday Use" Before You Read: Traditions & Heirlooms

Many families have traditions or heirlooms (special objects) that are handed down to younger generations. What traditions would you like to pass onto future generations of your family? What items would you like to pass onto future generations as family heirlooms? Explain and describe your selections.

Well, in my family we dont really have that many heirlooms. Currently my parents and family have not given any heirlooms that will be passed from generation to generation. My dads' brother which is my uncle has tons of really old pictures that he got from his aunt before she died in 2006. The pictures are of my great grandfather. My great grandfather was a really great man. He was the man who brought Hollywood Video to Mexico. He was also is the was with Pancho Villa. He fought many years with him till he retired. After he retired he moved into the movie bussiness. His name was Luis Abbadie. When I get older I hope that my uncle turns to me to get the pictures and then from there I'll give the images to my son and then hopefully from there it will keep on going. That hopefully will be my heirloom that will be passed from generation to generation.

"The Pedestrian" Center for Regressive Tendencies Paragraph

Use your imagination to help you describe the Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies that Leonard Mead is sent to. Consider whether the researchers are human or robots, what they look like (including how they are dressed), and how the building is furnished. Be sure your setting creates a mood that fits with Bradbury’s story.

Prompt A: Write an expository paragraph describing the building Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies.

Prompt B: Write a narrative paragraph from the point of view of Leonard Mead as he enters the facility.

Post your paragraph on your blog and title it post: Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies.

Remember to use at least 100 words in your post. I highly recommend that you spell check in Google Docs or Microsoft Word before you post your paragraph.

I chose prompt B so here it goes.

Here I go I walk up to the hospital that looks like a castle but when I entered I felt a sudden dread. I see really old people sitting down watching t.v. So I went to a friendly nurse to ask if my room was ready. She said yeah.So I get walked by a really nice robot looking figure it told me that I got the best room. So I get  throwned in the room and the door behind gets slammed shut. Then all of a sudden the walls turn into t.v screens and I screamed in terror. I begged the people to let me out then the door opened and to ladies picked me up and took me outside. I walked 5 miles that day and I never would regret walking in my life. My name is Leonard Mead and I went to a Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies and I hated it because people are lazy as heck. That is my homework thanks for listening.

Purpose of "The Pedestrian" Paragraph

Ray Bradbury’s story “The Pedestrian” was written in the 1950’s, but it predicts life in 2053. After reading the text, we can infer that Bradbury wrote this story for more than just entertainment. What was Bradbury’s purpose in writing this story? Write an expository paragraph stating his purpose. Write using a topic sentence that states the purpose, plenty of details supporting your statement, and a closing sentence that makes the reader keep thinking about the topic.

Anwser:  After I read the text I was thinking that if anyone can  do the things like in the story then it wasn't real. I thought my prediction throughly and I have decided that I know the purpose of the story. Well, the purpose of the story is for and to show what and how the world would change from the 50's to the 2053's. All that the story has talked about is for and to show what he thought might happen 103 years from his time. He had a imagination that would change the world. I think that he believed in the time in 103 years from now.

Life in 2053 Paragraph – “The Pedestrian” Before You Read

Prompt A: Pretend it is 2053. Describe a day in your life. Write a narrative paragraph, with a beginning, middle, and end.

Anwser: Once upon a time...Back track when does anyone ever use the phrase "Once upon a time" This isn't a fantasy tale. In the year of 2053 I am 43 years old I have a beautiful wife 2 kids and then I have a nice house, nice cars, and a really good Job. On my birthday we had a natural disaster hit the whole east coast of America but I told myself that luckily we weren't living in New York at the time of disaster. So the world was changing and my family and I went to the space station to go up to the S.L.F.E which stands for Space Life For Everyone. My family and I was only allowed to go up because I was a brilliant salad chef in the world and that the needed a salad chef. My family and lived up at S.L.F.E for a year or to before it was good enough for humans to live in the planet again. That is what will happen in 2053 to me.
