"Third Quarter Goals Reflection"

What your goals for the quarter? My goals for this incoming quarter are have a good attitude level, be responsible, and have good behavior. What work have you done to achieve your goals? The work that I have achieved to obtain my goals are being respectful to my peers and adults, also by doing all of my homework/classwork assignments. What are you doing well on? There are only some classes that I have had trouble in, like for example in Miss Priester’s class I always had trouble on and in because I act like the class is to hard for me and I don’t do anything to proceed in my grade in that class. Another is Ms. Davis’s class, in her class I had a B+ then I gave up and went down to a F. What do you need to do differently? My production that I need to fix is do all my homework, and also by fixing my behavior. How do you expect to feel at the end of the quarter? I want to feel like I have won a hundred thousand free boxes of Cheese Its and Sierra Mist soda’s (which are my favorite snacks).

What did I study over the past two weeks?


- In school I study many subjects from math to science then to one of my least favorites english. In english these last two weeks I studied about two thing, which were allegory and symbolism. I've learned many fun facts about both symbolism like for example in symbolism it doesn't always have to be a symbol it could me a chair for all I care. I learned that SPA represents a tiger because no matter what weather we get it would never bring us down. Thats what I learned.-

Animal Farm to the Real World

In the story Animal Farm by George Orwell, Old Major decides that the animals need to restablish there own bond against the humans. This phrase has a allegorical meaning because the animals are thinking like a civilization and tried to act more humanly by breaking themselfs apart from there true owner. This represents the American Revolution because just like in that revolution the Americans broke apart from there true owners which in that case were the British. In Addition, mankind has never acted like that of a animals. Americans wrote a paper saying to leave but the animals just ragged and took over. Even though most stories about animals are written for children, I think that this story is mainly for the teen level of reading, because of the cruelty and the vocabulary. I liked this story it was good for this class.

"Animal Farm” Revolution at SPA

           Once upon a time... Just kidding this isn’t a fairytale. Most people has heard or seen a revolution. The reason why I am talking about revolution is because there is a revolution happening at this very minute. Let’s get started, in a land far far away there was a man made village for a hundred of boys and girls. The campus is called San Pasqual Academy. This campus isn’t any regular campus this campus holds the all mighty FOSTER KIDS. On one hot summer day a group of kids (mainly jocks) were playing street ball in front of one of the boys houses called Boys 9. While the kids were playing one of the kids named Marcos came up and called every kid on campus to the lot where the jocks were playing and from there Marcos had a kid meeting. The meeting was mainly about all of the kids rebelling against the campus. From that point the kids decided to make these top 10 people the leaders of the campus. First it was Marcos DLS as the General of Security ( job mainly consists of making sure none of the prisoners escape and what not) second is the Prime Minister who is Jose G ( job mainly consists of making sure all meeting were on place and that prime minister is also the job for being representative of the campus) third is the President which is Jabriel J. ( does the same as the director of Campus) forth to ninth jobs are Senate which is anybody that would want that job, lastly the job of Queen the job of the queen is to follow the General of Security and that is NOT ANNOUNCED. So when the kids finished there meeting they decided to rebel on January 29, 2011. The day finally came and all the kids were ready so they finally decided to rebel. So all the kids ran out front and got into 4 groups one group took over the office, second group takes over the clinic and all of the school side, then the third took over the boy’s side and the girl’s side. Then the fourth group were back up making sure nobody escapes from the riot. When all of the fights ended the kids won in the biggest victory of man kind. So when they finished separating the good staff with the bad they put all of the good staff in a concentration camp and they killed the bad staff. Finally all of the kids got situated from moving around they lived a happy life till the government got involved (after 20 years) all the foster kids went back to the regular lives just like in 2010.

San Pasqual Academy Dragons Symbolism

The San Paqual Academy mascot is dragons. Every where you go on these campus you see the color blue and gray, dragons everywhere. One: When we have to football game we had a big dragons go around to get the people to start the crow to go crazy. Two: It represent us for the because we blow smoke because were vicious. Three: We had Strong have hope each other and had respect for every other. It feel like we have the power every body that try to play out team. We get all power up and then we go off like were scary.

“Through the Tunnel” Foster Youth Initiation

When you are in the foster care they will help you get ready to move on when you age out. They will help you go to collage and help to get in the program call the HPT that will help you get a place to live like a apartment or even a house. Many other foster youth will most likely participate in being able to attend places where you can be able to find a job like Job Corp which will train you so you can be able to do the job correctly out on the real world then when you complete your course the program will provide a job for you. Then another is that many kids wont be able to find a place to live cause they don’t have family or anything to be able to see to get help but many kids that leave San Pasqual Academy will be able to come here for a housing option. Then many foster kids will also be able to get free money so he/or she can purchase clothes for there personal need. They all can buy house products when they move in the house that they give them. They help you buy saved money so when you get older you know how to spent your money wise. The three thing in enter and exit the system: One when you come to a new place they will have to get setting in the knew place. Two: Stay in school pay closely attention and get ready for the next year. Three: Getting ready for collage and move on from high school. These will help the student pay way more in school and not what is not about . It will help us by getting us ready to be adults.

I am going to do prompt A. In the story Through the Tunnel I find it convincing that Jerry does take a risk and survives that risk because from my perspective is that he really needed to do the way of going through the tunnel. It is okay that he trained to go through the tunnel and he succeeded by training his lungs so he can hold his breath. So I think that it was a good thing that he actually decided to go through right after he stopped bleeding. So I really think that he choose a good perspective of how he can do that kind of thing right after he stopped bleeding amazing.

Through the Tunnel” Prove Yourself Paragraph

I have many times that I have hit a obstacle through my life. I am going to do my most recent obstacle which happened a couple days ago. I was out on my skateboard one day and I was with my roomate names Isaih and I played him skate and he of course beat me in the game. So he told me that we should work on some of our tricks and I started to work on my kickflip. At first I kept on falling on the ground till he told me to change my posture on the board so right when I changed my posture I was able to get the kick better under my feet. So the next day we went out again and I rode my board and started again on my kick. The first try I got it I was so happy I kept on doing it and I was glad. The reason I told this story was because when I could of quit I didnt I kept going cause I never back down.

House Symbols

My house symbols for my house is skateboard When we extra time on the weekend we all go out side of our house and skateboard all day. When it time to go in they we will eat and then take a break then we will go back out and fished what we start. It we get hurt it dose matter we will still be out there keep going until it is time for us to go in. Then the next day we will back out skateboard again if were still score we will keep going. To most of to the people these symbols skateboard is something that kids used by true passing on school property and having the security guard have to chase after them and take there skateboard away. These symbols also used for when kid skateboard something they get hurt and that think that it so funning to laugh at the other person that got hurt. To us, it represents that we think that so pro at it when it come down to it is not really that fun. After the a few days it might get so board that we find something else to do.

Third Quarter Goals

What was your greatest accomplishment of 2010? What did you have to do to achieve it?

My greatest accomplishment of 2010 was the fact that I realized that I screwed up the whole year when I could of done something benefited to myself and others.I failed classes in the year, so that will not help in my case. i achieved this goal by thinking dam Marcos look it the potential that you have wasted, you can do better I told myself and I will for the 2011 school year.

Winter Break


Right when the school bells rang I walked up to my girlfriend and kissed her on her cheek and waited for her housemate named Aqua. So we walked and talked till we hit girls 8 doorstep so Aqua walked inside and Ema and I stood there all by ourselves. We stood there for another couple of seconds and then she said come by later after community meeting and I said alright baby and I kissed her and walked with my brother Jose G. So Jose and I walked up to my house and he dropped me off and then told me to hang out with him later. I told him alright so I walked straight inside said hi to my staff Tony and walked into my room and threw my stuff on the ground. Then my roommate Luis P. came inside my room and started to bug me how he always does. So I kicked him out of my room and started to play some jams.

After my first song my nice but annoying social worker walked into my room and told me to come out for community meeting. I was all and willing to come out but after a long time of begging from my social worker I finally stood from my bed and walked out to the kitchen where everyone except my roommate was at. Half of the time we talk about sex in community meeting but unexpecteble we didn’t this time. We mainly talked about resolutions for the new 2011 year. So Michelle made each one of us right a paper for our teen topic about our changes for the new year. Finally, we were done with the meeting and I ran to my room and decided I will text my girl.

So after I waited for my reply from my girlfriend I walked down to my county and talked to my social worker named Raymond. To my surprise he told me that I’ll be getting a new CASA (I’ve been waiting for my CASA for about six months). Ray told me that I will have to be here on 12/29/10 at 11 clock and I told him okay. Then at that possible moment my girlfriend txted me and told me to go to her house and hang out. I said my good byes and started to walk to my house so I can tell my houseparent Roy that I will be going to girls eight to hang out with my girlfriend. I walked down there and I stayed for about 4 hours watching movies and playing games. I thought it was time for me to leave because I got tired of sitting there and doing nothing so I walked home and sat on my bed for 15 minutes and I crashed out. I was so tired that I slept for about five hour till it was 8 clock. Then when I woke up I took my medicine and then went back to my wonderful dreams.
