Sophomore Paragraph

For me being a sophomore is the same as any other grade just that you have to wear the title as SOPHOMORE on your forhead everywhere you go just kidding. There are many reason why I don't really like being a sophomore one of the reason is because I have to deal with all of the sophomore teachers like Miss Priester but another reason is because I think I work better when I am with older peers like juniors or seniors. So me being a sophomore is okay but I also hate being it to.

San Pasqual Academy Dragons Symbolism

The mascot for San Pasqual Academy is a Dragon. This mascot symbolizes courage,strength, and energetic. The reason I choose these three are because even though other people are bigger then us doesn't mean that we will back down. Then for the strength it means that no matter what we go through we will always find a way past it. Last but not least energetic means that it can be 4th quarter in a basketball game and the starting five has been playing the whole game we still wont be tired because we are energetic dragons. When I became a Dragon I felt good because no matter what stands in my way of success I will shoot fire at them and go right through the barricade.

1. Community Meetings are like a baseball team.  (because it is a get together)
2. Passes are like short vacations.   (because you dont always stay there)
3. The gym is as loud as a stadium.  (because many people are in there playing)
4. My house is like a store.  (because many people come in and out)

Personification-

1. The moon cries every night.  
2. The flower jumps through the wind.
3. The phone woke with a alarm.
4. The car drove bye with a wink for attention.

because people try to act tight in light
Even though kids are fish in a school
because they act like they are a tool
Then the animals are like the teachers here nice respectful
because they let us play with dice in our time

Last weekend I had a blast the first thing I did on Saturday was wake up at 9 oclck and get ready so I can go with my CASA to the 100 year Ceromony for the Navy. On the drive on Saturday I was practically sleeping in the car because we were in traffic because more then a thousand people were going to North Island for the Ceromony (the island is the birth place of the Navy). Once we got there we walked alot and I had a blast because I meet the Metal Mulisha and I saw a lot of Fighter Planes. When we were done with the Ceremony we went to go eat then the long drive home. LOL I had a BLAST!!!! hahhaha

I can relate to " Grape Sherbet" poem because just like the character from the story I think alot about my favorite desert which is Chocolate Pudding. Omg Even thinking about it makes my mouth juicy. "Dad appears with his masterpiece swirled snow, gelled light" I think this part of the story is helps me imagine the poem better because like The title which is Grape Sherbet then the father appears with the masterpiece which I think is the sherbet. Imagery helps the reader view what is happening in the readers head.

Memorable Valentine's Day

My most memorable Valentine Day was this year. The reason why I say that this is my most memorable Valentine is because every other year I never actually had a girl that I really love but I guess love will catch up to you one way or another and it caught up with me this year. the reason why this is the day is because I have a love one and I decided to be in a good position this year instead of a bad position like every other year. I hope my day keeps on  going peacefully like how it has been happening. I think I am going to be with my girlfriend for V-day. Happy Valentines Day Everyone.

Same Song Paragraph

The theme or the message of the poem is style doesn't mean everything. Looking good is important to me because people dont want to see someone in really dirty clothes and that smells like a hog. People try to look good so they can get into good jobs, and possible get people to like how neat and organized they are. I think that when I dress up to get ready I like to look better then I look like when I wake up, because when you wake up you have the morning appearance and I dont like looking all mad and what not. In the end I think my appearance really matters because I like to stand out on how I look and smell.

Poetry Experience Paragraph

When I study about poetry I feel like wanting to write my own poems. Sometimes I feel like poetry is just nonsense for all the kids, I barely understood what poetry represents but then after I did the bookmarks I understood it more freely, without having to ask as much questions like I used to. I somewhat know about poetry like for example I know that there isn't just one kind of poetry there is different kinds that dont have rhymes some do, and then also some that are not understood fully. Like I said on my first sentence when I hear about poetry if I read it to I figure out that I can do that thats easy. I want to learn about how to name different kinds of poem from others.

Animal Farm” Character’s Symbolic Meaning Paragraph

In the story “Animal Farm” by George Orwell, the character boxer represents honor and courage. The reason why I chose these two traits is because Boxer never gave up on the Animal Farm Revolution he worked till he couldnt move anymore. In addition this shows that that Boxer had the courage to waste his good potential for the worst cause in which he didn't understand at that point. People who are hard workers and have the honor, good stuff happen to them.

In the poem "Heart! We will forget him!" the speaker in the poem speaks directly to her heart as if it were another person, a possible reason she talks to her heart seperately could be because she might think that she cant find love in her life as she is I think or maybe it might be because she is tired of going through love so she decided if you really want my love you will have to work for it and find my love to get me.

The artist and song that represents my life is Castle Walls by T.I. A good piece in this song is when Christina A. was saying "if i should tumble if I should fall would anyone hear me..." that represents me because I feel not that many people are around my environment or in my social bubble. I just think this song represents not only me but many other foster kids on this campus. This is my song .
